Welcome to the latest update for Creative Anchor, my personal portfolio and now blog. The previous iteration was a simple one-page, static site built in 2013, which didn’t leave a lot of breathing room, so when it came time to rework the site, I knew I wanted something a little more robust. About ten scrapped redesigns later, here we are!
The new Creative Anchor was built with Sass, Gulp, WordPress, SVGs, and responsive images. I tried to keep performance and accessibility in mind through both design and development, and I will continue to make tweaks to improve these as the site grows. For some behind-the-scenes looks, check out the pattern library and the source code.
Take a look around and let me know what you think! And if you run into any issues, you can create an issue in Github.
