Casino Fandango

Project Overview

Located in Carson City, Casino Fandango was looking for a modern refresh for their website. The new site was built by BIG YAM to be fully responsive, showcase large photography, and simplify both the user experience and the site’s maintenance.

The site was built with WordPress and features information about the games they offer, menus for each restaurant, and two calendars powered by Modern Tribe.

Development

My primary focus on this project was on front-end development and CMS integration. I cut and code the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript from the Photoshop designs, created a custom WordPress theme, and tied everything together through the CMS. The site features an animated homepage carousel, content-driven menus, two events calendars, and full-page, fixed background images to show off the site’s photography. I also built a card flip animation that can be seen on the winners and 404 pages.
